Last night we had a going away party for Mark and Jessica, the latest of my friends who are moving away. Jessica left for Brooklyn this morning. Mark is off to Phoenix before moving to Chicago next week.

I Lied
I don't think Britt Daniel is creepy at all. A bit cocky, yes, but not creepy. I did a web chat with him yesterday ('cause I'm the biggest nerd ever). Last night we went to see Spoon at the Rialto. I've been madly obsessing over Britt Daniel since seeing them at Coachella last month. We went to Congress after the show assuming he would be there drinking. Too scared to actually talk to him, we just followed him around all night gawking like idiots. To make myself feel better about the situation I've decided that he's creepy. He just walked around in circles all night, not talking to his bandmates, looking forlorn like he wanted someone to recognize him, then rolling his eyes behind the backs of the girls who tried to hit on him. This does not mean however, that I don't still want to do it with him.

My friend Tracy just moved back to town. She's been in Sioux City, Iowa for the past two years.
